At Loudon Dental, you are truly in good hands with many of our highly experienced team working together for nearly two decades. We treat our patients with the same compassion and dedication as we do our own families, which is why many travel from far and wide to receive our care.
Our dedicated and highly skilled dentists understand the immense value of our patients’ trust. They take the time to listen attentively, and ensure every treatment plan is tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Our clinic is a modern and welcoming practice, conveniently located in Manurewa, with easy access from the Southern Motorway. Free parking is available in the carpark opposite the clinic. We also have a wheelchair-accessible surgery downstairs, ensuring that all our patients can receive the care they need.

Dr Gavin Grant BDS Otago
Dentist
Gavin graduated from the University of Otago in 1994. He began his working career as a House Surgeon at the Waikato Hospital Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery Unit before traveling and working for 4 years in the UK in a variety of general practices. Gavin returned home to his roots in Manurewa in 2000 when he started working at Loudon Dental. He has built up a loyal client base as he communicates his treatment plans effectively to patients, has a skilled approach to all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about preventative dentistry. Gavin has a close working relationship with many Specialists and takes a keen interest in implants. He enjoys getting to know his patients, especially when he gets to talk about fishing and sport.
Dr Johan Kritzinger BChD
Dentist
Johan graduated from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 1993 and owned his own private practice until 2005 when he emigrated to New Zealand with his young family. Johan has worked at Loudon Dental since his arrival, building up a loyal South African client base among other patients who enjoy his relaxed, friendly chairside manner. Johan enjoys aesthetic dentistry and is skilled in crowns and dentures. His passion is to have his patients pain free.
Dr Deanne D'Mello BDS Otago
Dentist
Deanne graduated from the University of Otago in 2020 gaining her degree with Distinction. After graduating, Deanne was accepted into a highly sought after position as a House Officer on the Dental and Oral Maxillofacial team at ADHB and then as a Dental Registrar, gaining 3 years of invaluable experience in Oral Surgery and acute trauma. During this time Deanne completed further studies and gained the top mark for Australasia in the RACDS Primary Dental Sciences. Deanne has enjoyed her move into general practice and getting to know her patients. Deanne has a passion for all aspects of preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry with the focus on helping her patients achieve optimal oral health and a radiant smile.
Ban Naddaf BOH
Hygienist
Ban graduated in 2015 as an Oral Therapist from Auckland University of Technology and has extensive experience working as a Dental Hygienist in general dental practice since graduating. Ban has also expanded her knowledge and skills in implant care and periodontal disease management after working alongside a periodontist in Newmarket. Ban loves the satisfaction of improving gum health and seeing how this health flourishes while she provides a pain free and comfortable treatment.
Kamila Rezaye BOH
Hygienist
Kamila, an Oral Health Therapist, graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2016. Since then, she has accumulated extensive experience as a hygienist in various general dental practices. Additionally, she has specialized experience in an orthodontic practice. Kamila is particularly passionate about treating periodontal patients, finding the work both interesting and rewarding as she witnesses the positive results.
Cathy Chen BOH
Hygienist
Cathy graduated initially with a Masters Degree in Dentistry in China and worked there for 4 years as an endodontist. She moved to New Zealand with her family in 2013 and in New Zealand trained as an Oral Health Therapist, graduating from Auckland University of Technology in 2020. Since graduating Cathy has worked in private practice as both a dental hygienist and also Oral Therapist, performing dental therapy on children. Cathy’s exceptional clinical skills and experience, and her passion for preventing gum disease have meant a seamless transition into the Loudon Dental Team.

Loudon Dental is devoted to quality care and providing comprehensive dental treatment for the whole family.
As a family run business, Loudon Dental was opened by Murray Loudon and then passed on to his son Scott Loudon. Gavin has worked in the practice for over 20 years and has continued their philosophy since purchasing it in 2020, bringing his wife Lisa onboard as Practice Manager. From the moment you walk in the door you will feel comfortable as our staff take pride in providing a sophisticated but warm, caring and friendly environment.
